Rising from the streets of Nairobi,rapper Clinchy Royal laid his real rhymes with melodic flow,resulting in a hybrid form that captured the ears of fans. In 2021 he dropped his best project yet, Number Mbili, which had ten thousand plays on Boomplay in just under two months after its release.
In 2019,he released his breakthrough EP,U Don Know,which landed him a spot on the jump off freshman list at homeboyz radio.
Influenced by artists such as 2pac,E sir,Octopizzo,Nas and Khaligraph,Clinchy began recording at the age of twenty years representing Nairobi's street life.His debut effort, The Rise Up Album, arrived in late 2018,the following year would see Clinchy's big breakthrough, starting with the release of Formula ya success Ep and Royal Highness Mixtape.
