Chidinma Okebalama as christened but then when she came head-on with her intrinsic potential, she metamorphosed into Chee (also fondly called “The Voice”) and through her journey of developing her music flair she has made songs which has elevated the community of God’s worshippers and yet she is relentless on the path.
Chee's passion for singing started at the age of four, when she began singing in the Port Harcourt AG Children’s choir. In 2007, she featured on the popular Bobby Jones Gospel Boston edition where the host himself described her voice as mind blowing. Her portfolio also boasts of serving as the choir director at the International Assembly of God from 2002 – 2010. She fast became the favorite vocalist in the choir and had a stellar reputation for transcending worship sessions hence her election as President of the North Eastern Unity Gospel Ensemble.
