Iceberg Slim, a Nigerian musician named after the famous author, is a smooth blend of AfroBeats and Hip Hop. Born Olusegun Olowokere in New York City, he joined his church choir at the age of 7, and music became a second language. Years later, he taught himself how to play the drums and the keyboard. After graduating from IAR (Institute of Audio Research) in New York, he decided to pursue music as a career. Influenced by multiple genres, Iceberg has created a uniqueness that he has shared on multiple stages across the world. Being able to sing and rap has been his biggest gift. Iceberg Slim has collaborated with top AfroBeats acts like Davido, Tiwa Savage, 2Face Idibia and many more. Iceberg has created songs that have been placed in TV shows and movies, including the American crime-drama series “Blue Bloods”. The goal is still far ahead, but he wants you to be a part of his journey.
