Officially signed to White Lion Empire, he began his musical career in 2012/2013, but only started recording and releasing music professionally in 2018 with the release of CHAMPAGNE, OBI and ‘FINE GIRL’. In 2019 he continued putting out singles with the release of HUSTLE, followed by “DRIP UP and OPEN & CLOSE”. A year already fraught with deaths and lockdowns necessitated by the battle against the covid 19 pandemic, 2020, has so far proven to be unpredictable in every way.
One of the numerous diaspora based artistes fighting for recognition in the Nigerian music industry, Chibuike with the release of the mid-tempo motivational number PRAY FOR ME is proving to be in this for the long term. His 2020 offering “Pray For Me” was recorded during the coronavirus lockdown and released in July 2020.
