Gabriel Washington Ogonda popularly known by his stage name Gabiro Mtu Necessary is a rapper, an actor, songwriter and web designer from Kenya. He was born on 23rd July 1995. His stage name is derived from Gabriel, which was shortened to Gabiro when younger schoolmates found it hard to pronounce his name.

Many of Gabiro's Songs became very popular and trendy on social media in line with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.

Career
His music career kicked-off in 2013 after recording his first single 'Story', a song that earned him a mark. He hogged the lime light following his nomination in various awards.

Gabiro parted ways with Starbell Records in 2019. And started his own record label, Jodifa Enterprises in November 2018.


His 2021 album JENESIS got recognized at The Recording Academy / GRAMMYs during their annual beyond the record initiative. Gabiro released “Isabella” in 2021 as his 5th single under Jodifa. He also released another collaboration “Mama” with Asen B to mark the 2021’s Mother’s Day.
