Deezell Ibrahim Rufai,
better known as Deezell and me, has been gifted with the ability to compose hip-hop in both Hausa and English.
Born in Michigan State in the United States , he returned to Nigeria at the age of 5 and returned to the United States at the age of 14 to study abroad. There he began his singing career and later returned to his native Nigeria and continued to sing in the Hausa language. It was also the first song by a group of northern Nigerian hip hop singers, entitled “WE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HATERS”, which included Morell , BOC, Kheengz, DJ AB , and Classiq himself.
