YOYO is a gospel singer/songwriter who started music at the age of 8 and was recruited into the adult choir.
She is a graduate of Benson Idahosa University and in 2008 She won the ice berg Award for the Best female dancer in Benson Idahosa university.
After graduation, YOYO started recording songs professionally.
In 2012, she dropped her first single online "Wowoma" which was nominated for the Top Muzic Awards.
In 2013, she released her first official single "Amen" and also released its official video in 2014.
Both were massively accepted and celebrated all over Nigeria.
In September 2014, YOYO dropped her second official single titled "Thank you" which received great accolades.
In November 2014, The prestigious SSMAwards nominated "Amen" as "Best gospel", "Best Video of the year" and "Best upcoming Artist of the year"
In December 2014 "Amen" won the "Best Gospel" award.
YOYO is currently working to release some new singles and subsequently her debut album. This album would feature a variety of songs across different genres.
