Raphael Kofi Attachie popularly known in showbiz as Camidoh is a Ghanaian Afropop/R&B singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Many of Camidoh’s Songs became very popular and trendy on social media in line with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.
He was born in Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana on the 21st January 1994 and raised by a single mother in Ho, the capital of Volta Region. Ghana.
Career
Camidoh attended Nileem preparatory school complex from 1999 to 2004, then moved to Rijnbeek catholic school complex from 2005 to 2008 where he had his junior high education. He furthered to Bishop Herman College from 2008 to 2012 for senior high education where he read general arts and topped it up with a Bachelor of Science in marketing between 2013 & 2017 at the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Ghana.
He developed the love and passion for music around the age of 12 when he was about to enter junior high school drawing his inspirations from Senegalese-American singer Akon, Chris Brown, etc. Fast forward Camidoh met an equally talented fellow whom he jelled very well with in high school and decided to merge to become a group called Belce.
The group got signed and operated as a professional music duo under Myco Music from December 2008, then moved to 3fs Productions in April 2016 until 24th December 2017 when Belce decided to go solo leading to the termination of the contract. Camidoh is signed to a Ghanaian indie record label called GRIND DONT STOP CO. LTD. He had his big break into the Ghanaian music scene after the release of his single For My Lover produced by himself. Since then, he has been relentless in making amazing music. He has performed on big stages in Ghana including Citi Fm’s Decemba2Rememba, and Sarkodie ThisIsTema, Rapahohic 2020 among others. He embarked on a successful UK tour in March 2020 which landed him yet to release a collaboration with UK-based Ghanaian musician, producer, and Juls and other top UK artistes.
Camidoh currently released an array of singles and collaborations with some of the top names in the Ghanaian music industry such as Kelvyn Boy, Medikal, DarkoVibes, P. Montana, Twitch 4EVA, Sefa, Kirani Ayat, among many others. Camidoh has recently released his viral track Sugarcane produced by Phantom and is set to have an explosive 2022.
Camidoh is super enthusiastic about anything musical and as a result of the passion, He learned production someway somehow along the line. He is mostly based along the Afropop / R&B line of sound and because he’s emotional in nature, he goes for love stories by default when he’s on the microphone.
