Frank Ngumbuchi Felix, was born on December 2, 1992, at Mbesa Mission Hospital in Mbesa village, Ruvuma Region, Tanzania. He is a Bongo Flava musician, but also a poet and composer of musical instruments. Foby attended Mbesa Primary School from Grade One to Grade 7 and was later selected to attend secondary education at Mbesa Secondary School but later moved to Ruhuwiko Military School. While at school through his other talents he rose to prominence and won awards through football and acrobatics, grabbing several trophies at regional, district, county and school level.

Career
Officially Foby started music while still in school, where he was performing every Sunday on Art Day, Foby was more popular because of his talents, he was playing acrobatics, football and music. While at school he had an accident while playing and broke his leg, at the end of his dream as a football player. 2006 was the year he officially entered the music industry.
