Segun Micheal Ajayi popular called 'Mystro' is a multi-talented instrumentalist, singer, performer, songwriter and producer who has a deal with Sony/ATV music publishing, South Africa. His production credits cut across many genres in Nigeria music. Many of Mystro's Songs became very popular and trendy on social media in line with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.
Career
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria; Mystro found his voice in music when he decided to pursue his musical journey at his early life. Mystro learned musical instrument as he was introduced to the church at a very tender age. Mystro worked on himself onward and today he has carved a niche for himself. The singer has featured so many top artists, also he has produced so many artists with each song being top hits on releases."
His sojourn in the music industry began in 2004 when he began producing underground for a long list of artistes. He was inspired with the urge to help and inspire those young singers out there to pursue music and to be a vessel of hope through his music that's why he decided to do afro pop.
His works quickly gained prominence and the superstars started coming for him. Mystro is responsible for producing a variety of Nigerian songs, with songs of his own as well. Mystro has produced songs for Iyanya, Orezi, Ayo Jay, KCee, Harrysong, Waje's Ave Maria and Silent Night covers, Iyanyas Heartbeat and Type of woman among others. Hes also enjoyed the privileged to have performed on the stage with the living legend, King Sunny Ade (KSA).
He has since had a successful career with a release of 34 albums 106 songs "Immediately," "Sugar," "Gawu," "Issa Vibe," "Mystro Unleashed," "Ofege," and "Handy Man." Among others. His most streamed album "Immediately" has seen massive gains of streams on boomplay with over 401.8k of streams since its premier in the music platform.
His second most streamed album was "Sugar" with 383.9k streams. He has also been blessed to do a collabo with the best afrobeat artists in Nigeria "Ycee, Nonso Amadi and Tiwa Savage" among others on the the single Gawu and other songs.
In 2017 he has released three singles and video and is working on releasing a New single tittled ATARODO and subsequently put out his long awaited LP project With popular songs like Aibo Moment of Silence, One Kain Love & All The Way to his credit.
His latest Hit single with the Starboy himself -Wizid has been the rave of the moment which has propelled Mystro to a the radar of Pop Music Lovers.Since then it has been an up shoot for him. Kanye had been captured rocking out to the song and he has landed two TIWA savage collaborations.
Mystro is not resting on his oars as also there is a plan to put out a new Ep in the first quarter of 2018.
