‘Water & Garri’ is the brand new project from Nigerian singer/songwriter TIWA SAVAGE.
Fresh from her critically acclaimed fourth studio album ‘Celia’ - named one of the 10 Best Albums of 2020 by Time Magazine, ‘Water & Garri’ is a 2-part, 10 track EP which Tiwa describes as her “spiritual journey through music so far”.
Having had the unique opportunity of spending her formative years across three continents, Tiwa’s musical influences are pulled from her primary years spent in Lagos, Nigeria, her teenage years a young adult in London, England and her college years in the United States. Here her love for Afrobeats, R&B/Soul and pop music fully formed.
On 'Water & Garri’ Tiwa blends her afro music or her ‘Garri’ to R&B and brings the musical worlds together in her heartfelt signature style.
