   Pastor Chris begins the sermon with the calling of Mathew to follow Jesus in Mark 2:13-17. Then he continues with Jesus being questioned about fasting in Mark 2:18-22. He wants us to understand that we should not question God with "why." Instead we must trust God and do as he calls for us.

   6. Communion- Taking in Jesus

   Pastor Chris starts his sermon with the story of the feeding of the Five Thousand, located in John 6. He talks about how Jesus told the people there that he was the bread of life and that if they would partake of Him, they would have eternity ahead of them. Unfortunately they couldn't they kept doubting His words. Finally Jesus states that those who don't eat and drink of His flesh, they will not be given eternal life.

   7. Goals for Church Growth

   Chris First recaps over the last few sermons and the proceeds to push for growth in three aspects: Discipleship, Eldership, and Culture of Ministry. The goals we have are to Restructure the eldership, Reaffirm Ministry culture, and Increase Discipleship. The start for all of this would be to make changes to the barn to increase its capacity for the children's ministry.

   9. Called to Grow

   Pastor Chris proceeds to add to his last service involving "Why dose the Church exist." The purpose of the church is to "... Make Disciples." Chris says that our purpose as disciples is to not maintain but to grow. He uses Ephesians 4:1-16 to better explain that we must be faithful equippers, empowerees, and builders within the church and in public. As stated in Ephesians 4:15 "... But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him..."

    11. Homecoming

    Pastor Chris talks about the origin of homecoming and that the purpose of it currently is to hype up a school or universities team for a big game, but the original purpose is to unite others for a common goal. We as Christians should unite together to bring others to Christ. In this, the more people saved, the more people will be coming Home to God. For our true Home is with God.

    Mark speaks about the hard times he has endured recently with the cancer in his mouth and his struggle with following Gods commands. Mark states that he was angry with God but when he went to go fishing, God used a situation Mark encountered there to move through Mark, and help him see that even though times are tough and things don't go the way we think, God is always in control and intends everything for good.

    Galatians 3:2 Matthew 7: 21-27 Matthew 13: 14-16Chris Ewing talks about the many times that he calls us to hear. Those who don't hear and obey are fools. They are building their homes on the sand and it will be swept away. Those who do hear and obey are building their house on the rock. Their house will stand strong when the storm comes and will not be shaken. We were given eyes to see and ears to hear, we must use them as intended.
