BoomLive is an audio live streaming platform launched on Boomplay. On BoomLive, you can chat with your friends and like-minds with featured topics, showcase your talents by the online live house, and simply have fun with friends and strangers by playing party games.

You will meet interesting people from all around the world, upcoming artists, game designers, business elites, and dancers, and interact with them LIVE.

Our vision is to create a platform where people can express themselves freely with their voices and make friends with conversations, performances, and games. Hold on tight, it’s time to go LIVE.

We encourage all BoomLive hosts and users to adhere to the following guidelines. if found guilty of any of the aforementioned actions, you will be banned from the BoomLive entirely.

- Hateful speech: Please do not attack anyone based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or infirmity.

- Pornography: BoomLive has zero tolerance for any sexual relating conversations or the circulation of any other pornographic information.

- Child sexual exploitation: BoomLive has zero-tolerance for child sexual exploitation, including but not limited to speech and acts like circulating child nudity content, inciting underage users to commit crimes, etc.

- False Information: Please do not spread false information or spam or promote content intended or likely to cause harm to others.

- Terrorism/violent extremism: Please do not engage in conversations that promote terrorism or violent extremism.

- Publicize/organize crime: Please do not use the service to promote or advocate criminal behaviour and illegal activity.

- Private information: Please do not publish or post other people’s private information without their authorization and permission.

- Impersonation: Please do not impersonate other individuals, brands, or organizations intended to deceive or defraud others.

✍️BoomLive FAQ

• Where is BoomLive available?

  BoomLive is available on Boomplay (Android: V6.2.01, iOS: V4.7.0 ). You will find a LIVE tab at the bottom of the Boomplay app.

• Who can join in a live room?

  All the live rooms are public. Anyone can join in a live room.

  
  

• Who can chat in a live room?

  Anyone in the room can send messages in the chat section.

  Audiences who are not logged in to Boomplay accounts can only send 3 messages in the chat section.

  
  

• Who can speak in a live room?

  By default, anyone in the room can apply to speak, and the application needs to be approved by the host. Once approved, you can turn on your mic and speak.

  Up to 8 people can become speak in a live room at one time. Speaker status can be lost if the speaker leaves the live room. A speaker can remove their speaker status to become a Listener again.

  A host can also lock the seat once the room has been created. To lock a seat, tap the ‘+’ icon on the seat, and then tap ‘🔒’ icon at the bottom. When the seat is locked, the user can’t apply to speak.

  
  

• What does it mean that live rooms are public? Can anyone listen in a live room?

  Live rooms can be listened to by anyone on the Internet. This is part of a broader feature of BoomLive that lets anyone listen to live rooms regardless of whether or not they are logged in to a Boomplay account.

  
  

• Can other people see my presence while I am listening or speaking in a live room?

  If you are listening in a live room, your profile icon will appear on the audience list in the room. The audience list is only available to hosts.

  If you speak in a live room, your profile icon will appear on the co-host seat.

  
  

• What do gifts mean?

  The gift is a virtual commodity that the audience can use to show support, celebrate special moments, and amplify their voices by cheering in the live room.

• How do I invite people to join a live room?

  Invite people to join a live room by posting the link out on Boombuzz, or copying the link to send it out.

  
  

• How do I get notified about a live room?

  Audiences can sign up and follow a host for notifications from this host. When the host starts a live room, the following audience gets notified via push and in-app notifications.

  
  

• How can I report a live room?

  If you think a live room violates the BoomLive Guidelines, you can report it while in the room by tapping the ‘report’ icon and tapping Report this live room. Anyone in the room can report it.

  
  

• Who can create a live room on BoomLive?

  Anyone can create a live room on BoomLive. All you need to do is: Update Boomplay to the latest version, click on the 'live' tab at the bottom of the Boomplay App, and click on the 'microphone' icon on the page.
