Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan was a Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter that always made a mark with his musical releases.

The death of the musical icon broke the web today July 11th, 2021, the singer was reportedly diagnosed with throat cancer (Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma) and died at the age of 44 as a result of complications from the illness.

Sound Sultan released 7 successful albums before his demise. The projects are Kpseeeeeeew (2001), Textbook (2004), Naija 007 (2007), SS4 (2008), Back to The future (2010), Me, My Mouth, and Eye (2012), and Out of The Box in 2016.

Sound Sultan whilst entertaining also used his music to address societal ills, bad governance, corruption, and poverty just to name a few.

Lanre Fasasi will be greatly remembered and in this light, we will be sharing with you 10 songs from the iconic singer.
