Hello Boombuddies! Welcome to ‘Football Fan of the Week’, a new column in which we will select a SUPER FAN every week and showcase his/her stories regarding football!
During the EURO2020 tournament, there will be 4 rounds of selection, and each round will run from Friday to the next Wednesday.
How to participate?
Simply answer the questions in our ‘Football Fan of the Week’ comment area, and we will choose the one with the best story to be our ‘Football Fan of the Week’.
What happens if you are chosen?
1. You will get a special article written by us, and be put on the Music Home page with a beautiful design, so that every Boombuddy will be able to check out your stories and lovely photos.
2. You will receive a special badge on the profile:‘Boombuzz Football Fan’, which will stay up for 1 week.

The story behind my love for football? How did it even start? Wait but what is there to hate? Football is not just a word it an emotion. It has the power to bring people together. I remember one day I was walking in town in my Manchester United Jersey when someone mentioned my name (I had my name written boldly), I turned to see who it was and there this cute guy was smiling at me and said "Glory, Glory Man United" I smiled back at him and we became friends now I can we are more than friends[0x1f609]. When and how I started loving football... I remember when I was a little girl, my dad's friends would come to our house to watch football. It was nice seeing the way they argued yet they sit together and drink beer and cheers their glasses. Those who supported Chelsea were praying for United to lose and those who supported United were also praying for Chelsea to lose[0x1f602]. The rivalry was entertaining. I wanted to have that kind of relationship with my dad so I decided to support Manchester United and Barcelona since he supports Chelsea and Real Madrid. I don't regret it because I have that relationship with my dad now just that recently my teams have decided to set an agenda to break my heart but...we move! I love Lionel Messi[0x1f623]. Oh My God! is he human? He is talented. Some things he does are too extraordinary[0x1f631] and oh! if you ask me which country I would like to visit...Spain and Argentina of course! Hell yes! I want to see Lionel Messi[0x1f63e] #FansOfTheWeek #EURO2020>

I love football because seeing my team at club sides and national teams win, gives me great joy. I fell in love with football in 1985 when the Golden Eaglets won the FIFA U16 World Cup in China where Nigeria defeated West Germany by 2 goals to nil. My favourite footballer today is Bruno Fernandes. In my teens to early 20s, I played football very well and was so passionate about football that I once played with a broken toe. No one noticed as I wore boots. It was when I got home I felt the pain. But no damage was done and I fully recovered. I do not presently have football pictures.>

I love football cause it entertaining and recreational I started falling for football when Chelsea won the first champions league that was 2012 my favourite is kante though the story I have around me about football was when I was in jss3 I was the keeper,it was a tough moment and interesting one tho cause that was my first time of keeping. I only have a picture of my upcoming star that's my junior in school and am really happy for him
