Omah Lay Receives Headies “Next Rated” Car Gift

Nigerian afro-fusion act, Omah Lay who won the “Next Rated Artist” award at the 14th Headies award show on the 21st of February, 2021 has received the car prize set aside for the category.
The Next Rated award is the most exciting, controversial, and highly coveted prize won by the ‘upcoming’ artists who have shown the most promise in the previous year.
The car gift was presented to Omah Lay by the organizers of the award show and GAC Motors at HipTv, Ikeja. The award winner thanked the organizers for the gift.
In his words;
“Next rated was a big plus for me. Shout out to The headies. My Growth so far has been something that I’m grateful for. I can’t explain it honestly, I can’t explain it. But still, I am grateful. I feel blessed, that’s basically everything I can say. And my people, my fans, they are everything. Honestly, my fans are everything…..”
