Zelda BotW Enemy Takes Out Player With An Unexpected Aerial Assault
On Reddit, one user shared footage of a Lizalfos aerially attacking them in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and it's expectedly hilarious.
Reddit user muddledtyne shared footage on the website of them getting aerially attacked by a Lizalfos in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Despite releasing back in 2017 for both the Wii U and as a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild hasn't even come close to exiting the gaming news cycle. Nintendo's big-ticket open-world title is brimming with yet-to-be-discovered features, as many players have discovered new facets of the game even in just the past couple of weeks or so. One player found that you can make your own fireworks in the game with some dragon scales, a bomb, and Revali's Gale. Another player discovered that Link can earn double the amount of Spirit Orbs by manipulating the game's memory storage.
Some players have even taken to making their own changes in the game with some modding. One modder made two impressive additions to the game. Waikuteru made Link's house in Hateno Village more of a worthwhile investment by adding a warp point, a fire to prepare food, a pet cuckoo, and more. They also took an unused shrine and restored it, making it playable. Even without modding, players are still making their own fun in the game. A group of players even did a speedrun to see who could make bread the quickest.
On Reddit, user muddledtyne shared a video of them being aerially assaulted by a Lizalfos. After Link surfed around for a bit on his shield, he decided to glide off a cliff and head down to a lower level of a mountain. While airborne, a Lizalfos appeared seemingly out of nowhere to attack Link at an extraordinary height.
When watching this impressive feat of athleticism from the Lizalfos, the video of the player attacking a Guardian from 1400m away comes to mind. However, the key difference is that the one displaying their astonishing skills isn't Link, but one of his rather ordinary enemies. It's highly unclear just how this Lizalfos managed to attack Link from that high up, but it probably fell off of the cliff that Link glided down. The video suggests that, as well.
With that being said, it's incredibly brave on the part of the Lizalfos to hurl themselves off of that cliff just to take one heart of damage off of Link. Even though it was only one heart's worth of damage, the Lizalfos actually almost killed Link, so maybe it was worth it after all. All things considered, that Lizalfos would be revered by Calamity Ganon and his underlings for that attempt to take out Link. There are truly endless possibilities in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
