1 Davido And Burna Boy Beef

Davido and Burna Boy are arguably the two most influential male artistes in the Nigerian Music Industry. They are unique in their own craft musically and personal lifestyles.

However, these two artistes have been on the neck of each other since the rise of Burna Boy.

Surprisingly, they used to be close friends in the music industry but an unexpected incident happened.

Their beef started after Burna Boy was nominated for Grammy Awards in 2019 with his “Africa Giant Album”

When Davido tweeted to congratulate Burna Boy, his tweet was however interpreted negatively.

According to the Davido’s congratulation tweet to Burna Boy, He wrote that, Burna Boy deserves more than a nomination.

This triggers Burna Boy and when Davido announced he was going to release his album, Burna Boy retaliated and teased Davido.

Burna Boy tweeted that he can’t wait see how Davido’s “A Better Time” album will perform poorly and how he will be happy about it.

Fast forward, Davido released a single and “FEM” of the A Better Time album which was again, interpreted as an address to Burna Boy.

Burna Boy released “Way To Big” and it was said to be a reply to Davido’s “FEM” diss.

Since then, the two has been beefing in their career and things don’t seem to be going pretty well soon.

The two have been in the music scene and now global artistes from Africa; Nigeria.

They have paved way for other female artistes like Simi and Tems.

Tiwa Savage got his breakthrough in the Nigerian Music Industry before Yemi Alade.

Like usual, when Yemi Alade emerged into the music scene, people right away began to compare her to Tiwa Savage.

The comparison was too critical that they created a scene that Yemi Alade was about to take over Tiwa Savage’s shine.
