Korletey Mimpey, known by the stage name Vudumane, is a Ghanaian afrobeat musician who lives in USA. He is best known for the hit song ‘Odowuo’ which features singer Kwabena Kwabena in 2005 when he was called Nyankonton.
At age 11, he started writing songs with the help of foreign beats. Growing up, he performed on several stages with other Ghanaian musicians like Dogo, Ex-Doe and Tic Tac using the stage name Debase Nyansapo.
Vudumane, who was then called Nyankonton recorded his first hit song ‘Odowuo’ in 2005 with Kwabena Kwabena but left for the United States of America as a recipient of the Diversity Immigrant Visa. He paused his music career and went into barbering owning the Manhyia Palace Barbering shop in Atlanta where he trimmed celebrities like Davido, DBanj, Wizkid and others.
