Cryosis

In India, it’s hard to be unique. The expectation is to fit into a style and genre, so to defy this is its own challenge. But Cryosis have succeeded, and have created a brand new sound, carving out their niche in the Indian, and soon-to-be international, music scenes, with their unique, innovative and groundbreaking music.

Often, when Indian musicians follow Western trends, such as EDM or alternative music, they add a classical Hindustani twist, but Cryosis go beyond this. Inclusive, diverse and organic, Cryosis’ music breaks the chain of stereotypical Indian music, defying traditional expectations by transcending genres, and creating a sound that anyone can relate to, regardless of their background.

Cryosis’ music takes the listener on a cinematic journey, creating a whole world with each song. Cryosis create music that can live on almost any playlist, while still maintaining the integrity of its own definitive sound.

Siddhant and Sangeet met through mutual friends in college, and quickly established themselves as a top music writing team, creating TV themes, scores and compositions for world famous brands such as Mercedes, MTV, and BMW, to name just a few. However, their deepest musical passions lay in pop-infused dance music, which led to their first EP "Emotions."  When vocalist Aakanksha collaborated with them on one of the tracks, they were inspired by her unique talent, and with the addition of Aakanksha, Cryosis was born.
