B. Botch (real name: Blessing Botchway) is an Afrobeats (pop)/Hip-hop artist from Ghana. He grew up on music as his parents often played music at home, grabbing and listening to other genres of music in between from Rap to Afrobeats as he grew up (incl. Stonebwoy, R2Bees, WizKid, Ice Prince, etc). B. Botch's first encounter with recorded music was at age 10 when he often accompanied his mum to her studio sessions because she was an aspiring gospel musician.
Fast forward a few years later, B. Botch visited a studio by himself in the first year of high school at 15 years when he realized that he also wanted to pursue music. He has been experimenting with vocals and sounds ever since that time till he dropped his first single in Nov 2017. He hasn’t looked back since!
His dream is to take African music to the global stage. He believes Ghana has a unique sound and influence to move the world!
