Formed in 2016, Amongst Wolves are a 4-piece pop-rock band based in Manchester. Using catchy pop melodies with energetic guitar riffs, they engage with young people, particularly those who feel on the edge of society. Focussing on going into high schools, prisons and local communities, they talk about their Christian faith and how it’s impacted their lives. They feel passionate to talk about the stigmatised topic of mental health and to share a message of hope.
Amongst Wolves is comprised of Dan Jenkins (Vocals), Mark Wakefield (Guitar), Clarissa Stockton (Bass), and Andy Wells (Drums) and has done since early 2019. The band released their debut project 'Unspoken' in late 2017, a 6 track pop-punk EP.
They followed this up with 'Rabbit Hole'. This track was highly acclaimed by fans and critics alike, reaching #3 in the Step FWD Charts. With this song, Amongst Wolves took a step towards a new direction, with pop-rock the new driving force of the band. It was at this point that former vocalist Kariss left the group, as she felt her time with the band was up. In June 2019, Dan Jenkins stepped in as the new front man. In April 2020, the band was recognised by The Grizzly Awards by claiming runner-up in the best international band category.
Alongside a busy touring schedule in 2020, the band are excited to release new music, with a new sound but the same heart and passion....more
