Upcoming r&b superstar, Nezsa, was born Vanessa Adaeze Enoka in
Nigeria. She spent her formative years moving between the Northern
Nigerian cities of Kaduna and Abuja, where her love of music was heavily
influenced by her parents and brothers, who introduced her to artists such
as Yanni, Adele, Coldplay, Rihanna, Chris Brown and Wande Coal.
Although Nezsa was a member of her church choir growing up, she never
considered music as a career until she crossed paths with some artist friends
while studying at university in Winnipeg, Canada. In 2017, Nezsa met
Rilwan and Kamal who asked her to feature on a track they were working
on after discovering that she could sing. The experience unlocked a love for
music creation in Nezsa, opening a new horizon and officially marking the
