Ajebutter22 (born Akitoye Balogun) first appeared on the scene in 2009 alongside his sister Taymi (aka Socialajebutterfly) in the eclectic hip-hop, electro-funk, and soul duo Soyinka’s Afro. Many of Ajebutter22 songs become very popular and trendy online with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay. In 2020 Balogun teamed up with Nigerian singer, songwriter, and pianist Mayorkun for the single "Ginger You."
