The FRA! band is a music ensemble from Accra, Ghana which consists of young people from different backgrounds united by one language; the language of music. The name “Fra” comes from the Akan word which means “mix” and this is an analogous representation of the elements of fusion which is found in their music. The music the band produces is hinged on technical prowess, melodic phrasings, playful lyricism and progressive roots based on our Afrocentric heritage. Their unique sound has paved a way for the band to perform at numerous festivals in various countries including Spain, Morocco and Tanzania.The band is currently promoting is second album 'JOURNEY' which was released on 17th August, 2019.The band line-up is made up of George Gogoe (Bass/Vocals), Joshua "Virgen" Boateng (Drums/Vocals), Martin Adjartey (Keyboards/Vocals), Selorm Dornyoh (Guitar/Vocals), Ishmael "Ayala" Kugblenu (Percussions/Vocals) and Ben "Nii TT" Ashong (Lead Vocals)...more
