Bless (born February 10, 1983, as Ben Rinehart) is a hip-hop artist. Bless was a B-boy at the young age of eight showing his deep hip hop roots. Many of Bless songs become very popular and trendy online with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.
Career
Bless quickly started to write rhymes and by the age of 12 he was demoing tracks in studios. The efforts made by Bless to attempt to further his music meant that his grades suffered at school, a school mate that was partnered with him in drama class (Also known as Matt from the former lets play group "Super Best Friends") reported that he never turned up to class to participate in group work, leaving other people to shoulder the burden.
After his drama partner did both roles in a skit and made Bless look like the jobber he was, Bless quit school almost completely. Bless established his name in Montreal as a young battle MC and soon after accomplishing that, he proceeded to take his name south of the border to New York.
Once in New York he began to collaborate with the likes of Limp Bizkit's DJ Lethal and Rahiem (Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five). After going to the 'Rocksteady Crew Anniversary' where he met Guru (of Gangstarr) and the two began working on the track 'Never Ending Saga' which is on Guru's 'Baldhead Slick & Da Click' album. At the age of eighteen this Montreal MC had already toured North America and Europe with the likes of Limp Bizkit and Guru of GangStarr. At the age of nineteen, his debut 12" on Guru's Ill Kid Records, Debuted at # 6 on several underground hip-hop charts in the U.S.
He has also toured with Lloyd Banks of G Unit and The Beatnuts aswell. Bless has released two studio albums as well as a mixtape hosted by Clinton Sparks. All three have been well received and have featured such hugely respected hip hop artists as Tony Touch, Nature, J. R. Writer of DipSet, Rah Digga of the Flipmode Squad, Guru of Gangstarr, Foxy Brown, Twista, Cappadonna of the Wu-Tang Clan and many others. The Clinton Sparks mixtape even features a song with Tupac Shakur, rapping a previously unheard verse.
