Jamopyper was born on 25 October 1995 in Egbeda,Lagos, Nigeria, as the first of six children. He hails from Iganna, Oyo State, Nigeria. His primary education began at Topaz Emerald School, Egbeda, and secondary education at Millennium Secondary School, Egbeda.

Zlatan eventually signed him to his record label called Zanku Records alongside Papisnoop and Oberz. The new signees released a hit single, “Unripe Pawpaw”, which gained massive viewership on YouTube.
Jamo Pyper became an entertainment sensation when he released the viral hit song “If No Be You” featuring Mayorkun.
Jamo Pyper’s “If No Be You” garnered massive viewership on several music platforms and also topped many charts.
Jamo Pyper also did “Omode Meta” together with Zlatan Ibile and Naira Marley. He released another successful single “Josi” which featured Chinko Ekun and Zlatan. Several of Jamo Pyper’s songs have made it to MTV Base’s ‘Top Ten Street Anthems’.
