HUNYO (Jhun Cruzado) is an independent solo singer-songwriter, visual artist & graphic designer from Marinduque & now living in Marikina City. He started writing his original songs in 2009 when he became part of a performing arts group (TUP Artists Society) in college. Most of his songs are about Love, Hope & Life. His musical influences are the OPM Alternative Rock Bands/Artists from the 90s & early 2000s such as Rivermaya, Sugarfree, Spongecola, and many more.
He started playing his original songs in live gigs in 2019 when he became part of Songwriter's Philippines: Songwriter's Night, Songwriter's Society Philippines & Songwriter's Library Indie Music. He also performed as a duo with Paulyne Uyan & formed a band in late 2021 which consisted of Rhocky Mariano on bass, Harry Sanvictores on drums & Kim Silorio on lead guitar.
He has independently released 3 singles which are "SUGAL", "ALAM KO NA" & "LQ" featuring Paulyne Uyan which are available on all digital music stream platforms.
HUNYO has appeared on PTV4 Sundown, NET25 Enjoy Music Beyond Crisis and on It's Showtime Online U, to name a few....more
