Andy Kayigi popularly known professionally as Andy Bumuntu is a Rwandan singer and was born in the year 1994 in Rwanda. Many of Andy's Songs became very popular and trendy on social media in line with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.

He started his music career at a tender age, drawing his inspiration from Senegalese legendary singer – Ismael Lo hence the reason he does Afro-soul / blues (music genres that are not so common), Andy Bumuntu told DJ Erycom of Pendona.com. Andy Bumuntu's biggest song Ndashaje, introduced him to the world of music fans in 2016, and since then, the soft spoken talented singer has graced many concerts in and outside Rwanda. Andy Bumuntu gave up his dream career as an "Electrical Engineering" at University after he dropped his course to pursue music full time. He has gradually gained prominence reason being, he sings in Kinyarwanda, English and French.
