Laura is an incredible, singer /song-writer originally from Greater Manchester who has lent her songwriting skills to the likes of Bugzy Malone, Example, Naughty Boy. Also known for penning Grammy nominated track ‘ New York Raining’ for Rita Ora and Charles Hamilton which featured on US TV show Empire, she also collaborated with Galantis , both co-writing and vocal featuring on their top 20 chart hit ‘Love on me’.
A prolific songwriter , Laura signed her first major publishing deal with Peer Music early in 2017 .
Over the last year Laura has been writing material for her debut album and working with some of the UK’s finest producers.
In July 2018, Laura released a first taste of the album with a single release via UMG called ‘Heartbreaker’ alongside UK rapper and Banks which debuted on Radio 1 Xtra and reached number 6 in the RNB charts.
In August 2018 , Laura featured on Bugzy Malone’s latest hit album’ B inspired’ on ‘Street Life ‘, and in September Laura featured with El Professor /Hugel on European dance hit Ce Soir which entered the German charts as the number one dance record and in the top 5 official chart.
Following appearances with sold out headline gigs in London and Manchester in the Autumn, one has the impression that this hugely talented artist is cementing herself as an artist to watch for 2019....more
