After a while she relocated with her family to the east, decided to move to Abuja, Nigeria's capital city after High School. She found comfort in her faith as a Christian when the challenges of losing a father at an early age hit her and She had to make a lot of decision for herself. She continued honing her skills to master a uniqueness in her own right.
Soon after, she moved to Lagos the largest city in Africa to further her education. There she did a diploma program in Creative Arts in Unilag. But the quest for more knowledge in her area of speciality made her enrol in the Peterking College Of Music.
Career
As one of Loveworld's finest, Chookar's style of music is extremely catchy, the way you want it, in a way you never knew you wanted. The mastery she brings as a gospel artiste and her outside-the-box creativity, elevates every session.
Brought up in Port Harcourt, her talent was first spotted when she was very young. Chookar was involved with the Children's Church Choir and Elementary School's Creative Arts group. She attended rehearsals and also practiced at home during chores and the usual bathroom singing.
