Singer Moyann aims to become the first female dancehall star from the second city. With songs including Netflixxx and Chill, ABC 123 and Quite Alright gaining traction on radio and on social media, it is safe to say that she is poised for a major breakthrough.
‘Musically, I hope to work as hard enough to be recognized as an international artiste. I want to make good music for my fans and be the best artiste that I can be’, said Moyann.
Moyann's verve and bold style has forced disc jockeys, music insiders and fans to sit up and pay attention.
"Music is something that I have always wanted to do and now that I have the chance, I am going to give it my all," she said.
She is determined to fuse genres and break rules to create her own distinctive musical palette.
"I have my own unique style. I draw my inspiration from my own personal experiences, and my surroundings. I am a feminist and an independent woman, but I explore all kinds of themes in my music," she said.
Established producers have already given her the platforms to showcase her musical chops. She has recorded for Justus Arison of JA Productions, DJ Frass, DJ Sunshine’s Yellow Moon Records, and Chimney Records.
