Jerry Shaffer, Hennessy’s internationally acclaimed official hypebusinessman, started music professionally in 2020 following the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic that forced most of the world into a lockdown. While holed up in another country several miles from home and with ample time on his hands, Jerry Shaffer got encouraged by friends to venture into making music. This birthed the release of his debut single 'Say So' featuring Mo Eazy, award-winning UK-based artist and budding musician, Slimmz.
'Say So' is a slow fusion of Afrobeat, Rap and R&B, which addresses the issues of sexual consent with the catchphrase “Imma wait till you say so”.
Video was shot and produced by award-winning UK-based Nigerian directors, Mr Felix Utomi and Mr Moe Musa who also double as director and Executive Producer.
'Say so' is a single release deal with FOSTONMUSIK, a London-based company that specializes in managing & developing artists, producers, and songwriters.
Since its inception, FostonMusik and its media production arm has developed and worked with the most successful artists within the international Afrobeats Music Genre.
Artists like Patoranking, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Olamide and Wizkid are only some of the greats we have worked with, with intent to discover and nurture hidden, promising talents.
