Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Tony Matterhorn was drawn to the sound system and selector (or DJ'ing) business in high school, and soon after made a name for himself as part of the duo King Addis and his ability to deliver an energetic and exciting live show. Performing in clubs all over North America, Matterhorn's style of hardcore dancehall won him accolades, including a victory at the dancehall World Cup in 2000.
