Tanzanian artist Shariff Thabit Ramadhani popularly known as Darassa has a new album titled “Slave becomes the King”. Born and raised by a single mother,
Darassa always believed in music, and that made him spend most of his time in studios.
He used to perform a lot in parties which made him believe that music was his passion.
His first release ”Sikati Tamaa”, an inspiration song was recorded by producer Manecky of AM Studios. Darassa later met Mr. T-touch, a producer and an artist and they started working together in 2015.
It was the same year he met producer Abbah who produced his first hit song ‘UTANIPENDA’ followed by ‘TOO MUCH’. ‘‘Abbah and I had a very strong vision and through this bond we produced the best song “Muziki” that made history and was the best Bongo Flava song in East Africa,” Says Darassa.
